While there may be other agencies with similar programs, Family Values Resource Institute, Inc. is impressively unique in that it is a one-stop community service agency. There is no other facility of this type within this immediate region. Our effectiveness is determined by our ability to accomplish the ultimate goal of self-sufficiency for the client. This comprehensive approach will allow us to make certain a client reaches his/her goal uninterrupted.

For example, in a one year program, a 17 year old female who becomes pregnant and drops out of school can enroll in her choice of cosmetology, computer, or other courses. She also can have the convenience of on-site child care assistance. Upon completion of her training, she can receive additional assistance in preparing for and locating employment.

Family Values Resource Institute is experiencing tremendous growing pains! To be able to provide adequately for our client and their families, we must renovate a recently donated facility. This project, minus the 22,000 sq ft facility which was donated, will cost approximately $970,000.

Facility (22,000 square feet warehouse): $155,000 - donated
Architectural Designs: $120,000
Renovation Costs: $600,000
Office Start-Up: $250,000
TOTAL: $1,125,000
